I was excited about the try out days we were able to attend prior to registering for the class. We were able to check it out and see if we liked it before joining, which I think was a good way to gauge interest level. So, skeptical...no, excited...YES! I love a challenge! The results I've seen so far are in how strong I feel. Prior to taking the class, I didn't do much weight work and focused mainly on cardio. I realize now, after having been in the course for about 2 months, that this type of work out is so much better for my body. I can see my muscles in my arms, my abs are tighter, and I'm getting stronger every time I go to class. People comment on my toning and how strong I am now, and I didn't get that when I focused so much on cardio. Feeling strong is AMAZING!! I don't think I was surprised by the results as much as I am extremely motivated and energized by the results. I think I'm more surprised at what I can do now, as a result. Prior to the class I wouldn't even think about doing push-ups, because they were so challenging, but now I do them as a daily routine. The stronger I get the more motivated I am to keep going, and challenging myself in different ways. I don't feel like there is anything I can't do! I recommend this class to be daily! Everyone I talk to who is physically active, and even those who aren't, I am constantly trying to get them to try it out. I tell people of all ages and of all fitness levels. The Workouts |
The goal of the Lean Body Fat Loss Training Program is to turn your body into a fat burning machine both during and after workouts. This is accomplished by working the biggest muscles in your body that will burn the most calories. You will do a variety of exercises for the upper body, the lower body, abdominal exercises, and a little bit of running just to name a few.. |

Nobody can make you accomplish your fitness goals. Only you can control your success. The Lean Body Fat Loss Training Program will teach you that consistent exercise and consistent healthy eating is the only sure way to lose body fat. It requires motivation and discipline, both of which are in each of us. If you follow this program 90% of the time, you will lose body fat. It is a tough workout that will require you to sweat and experience muscle soreness during and after each workout but that is how you accomplish your goals! |
I was nervous that I would not be able to do alot of the exercises due to a particular knee injury (I was wrong!). I could feel myself becoming stronger as the classes continued, being able to hold certain moves longer, being able to push myself further, visible muscle tone in my quads and abs and arms also! Quite pleasantly surprised!! I would recommend it to anyone who is open minded to exercise, someone who wants to do a different type of workout, and is ready for results! I was skeptical about this class at first because I thought it would be too difficult and hard on my wrists and knees. I was already in the kick boxing class once a week then I added one fat loss class. I lost 7 lbs in a month and a half. I have enjoyed it so much I am now going two times a week along with my kick boxing class one time a week. I am 44 years old and I am in better shape than when I was in my twenties. And no, I am not kidding. My abdominals, legs, and arms are very defined. I have more energy and self confidence than I have had in a long time. Yes, it is hard work, but when you leave you will be amazed how wonderful you feel. I would recommend this class to anyone who wants to feel and look incredible! I have my daughter and her girlfriend enrolled and they love it. Michael is a wonderful instructor and knows that not everyone is on the same level. So he shows his class a low, medium, and high impact example for each exercise. Take a moment and lunge across your room for three minutes. Are you out of breath and struggling to complete those three minutes? That is one example of how intense a simple maneuver can be while providing you with an excellent workout that costs no money! Common fat loss programs typically include exercises such as lateral raises, bicep curls, tricep extensions, leg extensions, and calf raises. Think about the size and the amount of muscle it takes to do those exercises. Now consider exercises such as squats, lunges, pushups, sprints, rows, and presses over the head and then consider the size and amount of muscle it takes to do them. Do you see the difference? Doing a push-up works the tricep but at the same time it engages several other muscles which in turn will burn more calories. The more muscles you work in a movement the more calories you are going to burn. |
Last year I had begun taking a kick boxing class, but wasn't seeing the results I was looking for. Mike was offering a Lean Body Training class so I decided to give it a shot. At first I was very nervous about the class and not sure I would be able to keep up with it, but after a couple weeks I could feel my body getting stronger. Before I knew it I was able to do difficult exercises with ease and could see the results. My reason for taking this class was to tone my body, but I have also found that I have lost inches in my waist and I am in the best physical condition of my life. It is amazing how a couple workouts a week can make such a huge impact! I would recommed this class to people who are looking to lose weight and also those who have reached their weight goal but are looking to tone their muscles and keep themselves in shape. One of the things that people love about Lean Body Fat Loss Training is that it can be modified to not only beginners, but also those people that are at a more intermediate or advanced level. For every exercise that I give people to do, I give 3 different versions: a beginner, intermediate, or advanced modification. So ANYONE can do this workout no matter if you're just starting to get into fitness or have been working out for years. For example. A pushup. One version of it would be a pushup against the wall, another version would be a pushup on the knees, and a third version would be on their toes. |

"I was extremely anxious to start this class because it looked exactly like the type of class I have been looking for. Results are great! I've lost probably close to 6lbs and I am getting much stronger. The first couple of weeks I could not even do one push-up on the ground, I had to do them on the wall, now I can do many regular pushups and am getting stronger each week.
